BCF believes that unless we act to retain citizens and future leaders, attract new citizens and future leaders and create connections between successful organizations, we will not maximize the impact of our other investments. The overall objective of the Promoting Baltimore Path is to increase the resources available to help organizations communicate success and opportunity to the future citizens and leaders of Baltimore. Through this Path, BCF will encourage organizations to work together to enhance the internal and external perception of Baltimore as a vibrant, welcoming place to live, work and play.

BCFs Promoting Baltimore Path will focus grants on:

• Creating opportunities for first-hand exposure;
• Connecting Baltimore college students, faculty and leadership to the community;
• Building connections among successful organizations;
• Celebrating success and opportunity.

We believe that no one path leads to our common goal, but that by investing strategically in many paths we can create a Baltimore with a growing economy in which all have the opportunity to thrive.
