Money Power Day 2010 will feature numerous workshops, presentations, resources, and activities aimed at inspiring and informing people of all ages and income levels on how to be financially secure.

YOUTH AS RESOURCES GRANTS WORKSHOPS



Youth As Resources, Baltimore’s youth-led grant making organization has funds available!

Youth (up to age 21) in Baltimore City and County who want to put their community building ideas into action are invited to apply for funding.

Grants range from $500 - $3,500 and are available for community organizing programs that are created and carried out by young people.

Youth As Resources is offering grant seeker workshops on Saturday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m.and Wednesday, March 17 at 5:00 p.m.

Applicants are required to attend one of the two workshops and must be represented by one or two youth and no more than one optional adult.  Application deadline is on Friday, April 16 by 5:00 p.m. To sign up for a workshop, please contact Julie Reeder at (410) 576-9551 or email.

ROCK TO REBUILD logoRock to Rebuild Haiti

Originally scheduled for February 11, 2010.
Postponed to March, Date TBA.

National and international recording artists will descend on Baltimore on to perform at "Rock to Rebuild," a gala benefit concert for Haiti at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

You can also make a donation to BaltimoreACTS and double your gift! A generous challenge grant from the Aber Unger Foundation of up to $50,000 will provide a dollar for dollar match for any individual donation above the $35 general admission ticket price.
