Key
1 Artemis Scholarship
Named for Artemis, the ancient Greek Goddess of the moon and hunt, this scholarship is for young women graduating from Baltimore City public high schools who wish to pursue higher education.
2 Megan Boesch Nursing Scholarship
Established in 2009 to honor the memory of Megan Boesch, this scholarship is designated for aspiring nurses.
3 Mildred M. Coughlin Scholarship
Named for a former Principal of Western High School, this scholarship is for young women graduating from Western High School who intend to attend a four-year liberal arts college or university.
4 Digital Harbor High School Community Scholarship
Established by residents of the Harborview and Key Highway neighborhoods, this scholarship is for students graduating from DHHS who demonstrate both academic merit and financial need.
5 Walther H. Feldmann Scholarship
Established in honor of William R. King, a former Principal of Baltimore Polytechnic High School.
6 Harry Z. Isaacs Scholarship
Established by the late Harry Z. Isaacs, this scholarship is for the children of employees of I.C. Isaacs & Company and subsidiaries or graduates of Baltimore City Public high schools.
7 Christa McAuliffe Scholarship
Established to honor the ideas and memory of Christa McAuliffe, the scholarship is designated for aspiring teachers.
8 One Step Up Associates Award
The One Step Up Associates Award is designed to help a young woman develop a skill, train for a profession or prepare to attend a 4-year college.
9 One Step Up College Scholarship
The One Step Up College Scholarship was established to make college possible for young women who have overcome significant challenges and displayed leadership qualities.
10 Al Sanders Foundation for Music Studies
Established to honor the memory of Al Sanders, celebrate his career with WJZ-TV and share his love of music.
11 Eric and Cara Thorn Memorial Scholarship
Established in memory of 16 year old Eric and 13 year old Cara Thorn who were killed in a car accident on their way to Calvert High School in Prince Frederick on November 17, 1998.
18 WJZ-TV Jerry Turner Broadcast Scholarship
Established to honor the memory of Jerry Turner and celebrate his career in broadcast journalism at station WJZ-TV channel 13 in Baltimore.

Dreams do come true: Our Playground at Stadium Place, rebuilt by determined volunteers and generous donors after the original was destroyed by arson. The work was supported by a fund at BCF. 

BCF’s efforts through the Diversity Path will work to rebuild Baltimore’s black middle class.
