(Baltimore, MD, 5/9/2016)—The Baltimore Community Foundation Board of Trustees has elected Guy E. Flynn and Matthew D. Gallagher to its board of trustees and named Laura L. Gamble board chair.

Laura L. Gamble, Regional President Greater Maryland at PNC Bank, succeeds Raymond L. Bank, who has been named trustee emeritus. Gamble, a BCF trustee since 2007, has over two decades of experience in banking. She spent seven years as president at Bank of America, Maryland, where she led the bank’s leadership team in Maryland. “Serving as board chair of BCF has been a great honor,” said Ray Bank. “All of us who care about the future of Baltimore are grateful for the talented BCF team, dedicated trustees, and generous donors for their commitment. The work of BCF in our community is more important than ever, and the ongoing focus on education, neighborhoods, and advocacy is crucial to our mission. BCF is fortunate, indeed, to have Laura Gamble lead BCF as our new board chair. Laura brings exceptional experience, insight, and energy as a community and business leader in her new role.”

Laura Gamble said, “It is my honor to be the chair of BCF’s engaged board of trustees. This organization is fortunate to have such a strong group of business people and non-profit leaders working together to make the region they love a better place, today and for future generations. I want to thank Ray Bank for four years of visionary leadership which has helped move BCF forward. It’s because of this work that we’re ready for the next chapter in the organization’s history.”
