Governor announces $1.5 billion for transportation projects

The Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, a BCF initiative, celebrated the September 4 announcement by Governor Martin O’Malley of $1.5 billion in state funding for Baltimore-area transportation projects. The list includes the Baltimore Red Line and expansion of MARC train service to weekends, both of which have been priorities of CMTA’s advocacy efforts.
